Is there any decking or water features on the ISS? What about a sheltered BBQ area?
I'm also pretty dumbstruck that these last few shuttle missions have not been scheduled to take up the patio. Now you've got me thinking about Space Bikinis. You know, silver foil jobs. I'm sure Kirk's training thrall has one such item, and a stunning rack to suit. Yes indeedy. Hmmmmm....

- There is no deck or BBQ area on the ISS, but you already knew that.
- Sadly summer BBQ and just good old fashioned fun is limited on the International Space Station. NASA being flashy and such have gone for a more modern look, abandoning all wood features. Despite ISS being a multi-country effort there is very little pizazz in the Space Station, besides of course FLAGS. As for a pool, maybe hot tub as most enjoy.. well that also is not a feature they have focused on, for some reason. This may be due to the low gravity i orbit around earth, or maybe its just a lack of initiative and bikini wearing. Personally I find it a shame America hasn't stood up and said, "We want a Wet Deck and NOW!"
- Nothing sheltered i'm afraid. Outside you'll get bbq'd in the sun one moment and then ice with everything the next. And the only water feature I know about is the one mentioned by the Apollo astronauts called ' The Constellation U-Rhine' ! A patio would be nice, but they may have issues with the seal on the sliding doors.
- They don't have the amenities of home.
