4. yes. i have a 160 gallon aquarium in my room and it helps keep dust down or slows it down from appearing so much. but make sure you have a filter system on it. good luck

6. Dust is everywhere but there are ways to decrease it. Too much moisture will increases your population of Dust-mites, other allergens and bugs. It promotes mold and makes you sick.
