indoor water feature using rain from the outside?
I have a unique room on the back of the house I am doing and I want to try to use the guttering system to funnel the water into the room and do something neat with it before having it exit the room . Maybe an indoor waterfall or have it turn a water wheel or something better. Any ideas?

- This is probably a really crappy idea but....Somehow, you could get the water to flow down a pane of glass, and either have a picture, painting or a light that changes colours (maybe, maybe a bit tacky) behind it? If you could sculpture something made of small glass jars, you could put clothing dye or paint pigment in the bottom of each, so that when they fill up, each jar is a different colour? What I'm imagining is a thin, tree-like wrought iron sculpture with the jars attached to it in different places. Also, I think it would be nice to simply have the water flow into a stone bowl that has those floating glass balls from Ikea (I think) in it, or floating candles. Maybe a bit feminine. Hope that gives you inspiration instead of turning you off the idea :/ Help? :) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkvqxqiN_JrfLIQ360i_y8zsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090815070003AAxJyAr
- I like it, but what if it doesn't rain?
