?????hi all want to make a indoor water feature what water/liquid can i put in there that doesnt go green????
thanks to all that answer what liquid/water can i put into a sealed glass unit to stop it going green with the sun...just making a simple bubble effect glass unit with a airpump its going to be solar powered

- Come on, the polar ice caps are melting! Do you rrreeeally need a water feature using up electricity, it's a bit of a waiste isn't it, lets be honest!!
- well the best thing if it is a sealed unit is to put just a couple drop of clorox bleach in it...chlorine will stop the water from going green...good luck!!!!
- I have a water feature - it's quite small - but the water doesn't go green. It evapourates so I just top it up now and again. I don't have it on very often so I'm not adding to global warming !
- there was an outdoor fountain in Barnstaple that was near my parents house that Vandals used to put food colouring into the fountain to give it different colours, maybe this is an option for you, they also put washing up liquid in it but i don't think these are the sort of bubble effects you are after
