astronomers have found new evidence for water on Mars using the orbiting Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft. What does this new evidence consist of? a. surface deposits of water ice near the Martian equator. b. features that look like water gullies on the walls of valleys and craters at high latitudes. c.episodes of rain falling on the sand dunes inside some of the deepest craters. d. a great river channel that fills with flowing water during the martain summers. e. a runaway refrigerator wa found on mars which was seen making ice cubes.

Public Comments

  1. a and b
  2. Just b. a is not a correct answer because there are no surface deposits of water ice near the Martian equator. Solar heating occasinally makes even polar ice sublimate so there's no way it can persist near the equator.
