I need ideas for raising funds/donations to save an architectually significant home destined for demolition.?
This custom home was built only twenty years ago but when the single-owner died in 1999 it was abandoned. The house is a one-of-a-kind, contemporary marvel, absolutely stunning inside with Frank Llyod Wright features. However, years of neglect has left it in very poor shape. Standing water has caused major water damage; mold and mildew on ceiling and walls. The grounds have not been maintained and are overgrown and compromising the structure. I need to raise money to buy the home and restore it. I'm looking to raise $150,000. I need your ideas and suggestions.

- Go to this link: http://www.savefinchlodge.com/ Contact your local Historic Housing Authority and see if funding/donations are available in part; also solicit local surrounding business who have an interest in preservation of the building. You will need to develop a Business Plan/Stratetic Plan outlining your Cause, Your Motive and your Solutions, then ask for donations in various categories, i.e. Sterling Donors: $50,000 - to receive advertising and donation recognition within the local community; Golden Donors: $25,000; to receive recognition and local advertising for contribution; Diamond Donoars: $5,000 - $10,000 - to receive business advertising and recognition for their donation and efforts to preserve the building.
- depending on time, raffles, dinners, etc do make lots of money for such things. also advertise locally some will do this for free for good causes as such, and for the raffles ask many to donate an item
