Feng shui question .....?
I'm interested in getting a simple water feature for my garden. I live in a terraced house with a straight path down from the front door to the road. As you stand on the threshold looking out you are facing East North East and there is a small square of garden to your left about 10 foot square containing shrubs, etc. Below this there is an open tarmacked area running down to the road on which we park the car. The driveway and path are totally open to the road, no hedge or wall. Any suggestions for where we should position a water feature?

- proper location for a water feature is dependent on the fengshui method you are using. to fengshui practitioners, the critical points to a water feature includes 2 factors: 1. location, 2. direction of water flowing. using flying stars method, you need to put the water feature where the water star 8 (because we are currently in period 8), this will partly activate the fengshui of your house (partly, because you also need to activate the current mountain star). flying stars chart for every house is different, because the chart is based on the facing degree (specific, measured using a compass) and the period when the house is built. water dragons methods: this is an advanced method, and based on my master, this can be very auspicious if used correctly. 10 years per direction. based on the method, each house (again, depends on the facing degree of the main door, i think) has 4 good directions and 4 bad directions. so if your water feature is a moving stream, then it is ideal to put 1 stream going inward using 1 of your good direction, then 1 stream going outward using 1 of your bad direction. this way, you activate the good, and deactivate the bad. this method is more powerful than flying stars, but can be difficult to do. there are other methods aside from these.
