How do you make a <slate> wall fountain?

I've been wanting to buy a wall fountain, but they are way to expensive. So I thought about custom making my own. How do you make one?

1. Paulita, It's basically a matter of having a water source, and covering it with material. Once you figure out and run your water supply, you'll have to plan on covering it with slate. To keep the slate in place, you'll probably have to use mortar so that it won't shift, etc. You should really look for a website that talks about the process, as opposed to relying on answers here to give you a final answer. good luck
