Wall Water Features - how easy is it to build?

how easy is it to build a wall fountain? like this: http://www.lagunawaterworks.com/IF-S-20-GRN-LRG.jpg It does not seem that bad. Get a cheap piece of left over Slate. Get a pump. then 2 steel pieces for the top and bottom the question is how hard is it to build? Am I making it to simple? Am I forgetting anything? Has anyone built one?

Well if you have the proper materials and research how to do it it should take about a week or so
As long as you have some diy experience it would be pretty easy. The biggest concerns would be keeping it from tipping and keeping the water inside.
the biggest thing is getting the water to flow evenly acroos the slate they usually have a resivour aqt the top which the pump fills with a lip on it to make it flow evenly .easy mate you'll be sweet
The trick is to get the water to flow down the fountain properly. We installed a 25 ft fountain in a store. The guy who came in to get the water flowing properly took almost a week to get it flowing down and not out to the sides. And this was a fountain prepared at the factory. Good luck!
